Eric Schneider has toured and performed with a diverse roster of jazz greats. A child prodigy, he started piano lessons at age 5, and began playing clarinet at 10. After graduating college Eric spent four years on the road with Earl Fatha Hines; their union produced the album "Eric and Earl". Eric then joined the Count Basie Orchestra and toured with Basie for 2 years, recording 3 albums including the Grammy Award-winning "88 Basie Street."The list of luminaries Eric has performed and toured with includes Tony Bennett, Benny Goodman, Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Williams, Sarah Vaughn, Rosemary Clooney and Billy Eckstine. Leading his own group Eric has produced 2 full-length recordings, and has appeared on many others. |
