Warren Kime
Trumpet, Flugelhorn
Born into a musical family, Warren Kime first studied trumpet with his father, who was a coronetist for bandleader/composer John Philip Sousa. After serving and performing with noted Special Service Orchestras during World War II and the Korean War, Warren joined the CBS staff orchestra.Throughout the 1960's Warren was known for his musical work on major television networks, radio and television commercials. Warren has performed on over 40 albums for various artists, recording many of his own along the way, including commercially-successful big band recordings for Command Records in New York. An in-demand session musician, he has recorded with a "Who's Who" list of music royalty that includes Nat King Cole, Stan Getz, Quincy Jones, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Sarah Vaughn, Dizzy Gilespie, Earl "Fatha" Hines, Henry Mancini, Barry Manilow, Joe Williams, Roberta Flack, Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Tex Beneke and many, many others.
